What should I do for my French senior project?

I'm a senior in college and I am a French/German major. I need to complete a capstone in order to graduate. I have to choose a topic, make a valid argument/statement/defense, write at least 30 pages, and then make a public presentation with all of the information, as well give any visual aids. The topic choice is SO BROAD. I can basically choose from anything and everything that has to do with French culture, language, history, etc. from any Francophone country. I originally wanted to discuss reproductive rights in France, but now I am leaning towards a topic with either an art history background or with literature. My problem is, I need a good argument.
